1^st Call Restoration was founded in 2012 with knowledge of the property damage restoration business from the insurance perspective and a vision to serve clients with empathy and quality when they needed it most. Our founder was has an extensive background in restoration work, marketing and sales.

After a few months, Jose Paraja took a chance on a new start-up and together Tim and Jose began building the foundation of 1^st Call Restoration over the course of the next year. As they continued to grow, they moved from the kitchen table into a small office building in Gun Barrel City with only 2 small offices.

Today 1^st Call Restoration has evolved into a team of over 25 restoration professionals providing a full range of mitigation and property damage restoration services from locations in Gun Barrel City and Tyler. Each location is approximately 10,000 SF in size.

Our team is available around the clock to care for you during your time of need. 365 days a year, day or night.

1^st Call Restoration has humbly served a wide variety of client needs ranging from single family homes to complex commercial properties including multi-family housing, nursing homes, medical facilities, churches and multi-million square foot industrial facilities.  

What set’s us apart from other local restoration companies?  

Our #1 priority is servicing the client and their needs not the needs of their insurance company. Many restoration contractors are controlled by Insurance Companies that provide them work in exchange for discounted rates or back room deals.

We have intentionally avoided these opportunities because we feel there are ethical questions that arise from having an insurance company or their 3^rd party administrator dictate what we as a service provider can or cannot do for a client. Our team has over 60 years of combined experience in all aspects of the property damage restoration industry. Holding over a dozen certifications, such as IICRC, BBB A+ Rating, Lead Safe EPA, Google Guaranteed, we are fit to serve you with compassion and dignity.
